A Charlie Chaplin Flim

78. Modern Times (1936)- This is the first Charlie Chaplin film on the list. It was the last movie Charlie made as his "Little Tramp" character (the hat, mustache, big shoes, and funny walk). It is the second silent film on the list. However, it wasn't really all the silent. It was however pretty good. Charlie Chaplin stared, wrote, directed, and produced it, much like a lot of his movies. It is the first Charlie Chaplin movie I have ever seen and I look forward to seeing more. The story was light hearted even though it dealt with poverty, jail, death, and unemployment. It did not make you feel down or sad. It was fun and left you with a very positive feeling. Charlie leaves his "Little Tramp" legacy with a girlfriend and lots of hope. Definitely worth checking out. I give it a Thumbs Up!
