Who Knew Country Music Could Be So Confusing?

59.Nashville (1975)- Ughhhhhhhh! What was this movie even about? I am not sure I could tell you. I am not even sure why it is on AFI's list. It definitely had enough actors and stars to make a great movie, but then again that made it all the more confusing. The basic story line has something to do with country singers... and that is about all I can tell you. Oh, and somebody randomly dies at the end?!?! This movie left my husband and I looking at the TV screen with a confused look on our faces from beginning scene to ending credits. The highlight of the movie was a very young, random Jeff Goldblum. Whatever else you think is going to be a good part of the movie, turns on you and leaves you asking why? So I will ask, Why AFI? Why did you put this on the list? TWO THUMBS DOWN!
